Greg Fritz served in the US Army for 23 years and retired, finding himself looking for a second career. Desiring to focus on helping others, he looked to the medical field and decided to stay in Hawaii to attend the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Honolulu. He earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2019 and opened a private practice just before the pandemic struck. He then heard of an opportunity to work in the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic at Tripler Army Medical Center on Oahu and has worked there since mid-2020.
Greg's unwavering passion to provide the best care possible and to expand the awareness and possibilities of Chinese medicine practice within the military medical system led him to continue his education. In 2023, he earned the Doctor of Acupuncture with a specialty in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego.
Greg has been fortunate to study under and work with some fantastic Doctors and practitioners while interning at the Pacific Hospital of Rehabilitation in Honolulu and Kama’aina Acupuncture. He was selected to do an externship in Guangzhou and Chengdu, China, further expanding his knowledge of this ancient medicine that is perfect for modern healing.
When he isn’t working or studying, Greg can be found playing guitar or bass with friends or in the worship band at his church. He will also show you pictures of his dog, Carl, without too much prodding.
